About Us
The Sensory Play Studio was founded in August 2024 by an experienced educator with a deep passion for early childhood development. With over 15 years in the field, her journey began as a daycare assistant and evolved into roles as a lead teacher, ABA therapist, and special education professional.
She holds a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a dual master's in Special Education and Early/Childhood Education, and has worked in both private schools and with the NYC Department of Education. Her background includes specialized work in early intervention and inclusive learning environments.
The studio was created to provide a play-based, enriching space for children — especially those who are often overlooked or underserved. At its core, the mission is to support whole-child development through hands-on experiences, community connection, and joyful discovery.
Our mission is to provide an enriching, inclusive space where all children can learn, play, and grow with confidence and joy.
“There is no greater gift you can give a child than the space to discover who they are.”
— Toni Morrison

“We absolutely loved how thoughtfully and beautifully they've curated the different rooms and activities. Our 2 year-old really enjoyed himself and we feel so fortunate to have a space like this in the neighborhood. We'll be back!”

“The instructors are warm and nurturing, creating a joyful atmosphere where babies can develop their sensory skills while parents connect with their children. A fantastic experience for both babies and caregivers!”
